Canon Rumors

I’m sure everyone is waiting to see what Canon is going to come up with to compete with Nikon’s D700. So here’s some rumors that’s been going around the photography circle all over the world:

5D Mark II Specs [NR]
From a thread on DPR.

-New body design with an integrated grip. Smaller than 1D’s
-ISO 100-12800
-DIGIC IV
-6 or 8fps
-3.2″ VGA LCD

Canon Rumors reported DIGIC IV existing 6 weeks ago for use in cameras, good to see the source came through.

EOS 50D Specs:

Sensor: 1.6x crop CMOS
Proc: DIGIV IV
MP: 15.1MP
LCD: 3″ VGA LCD
VF: 95% viewfinder .97 magnification
AF: 9 point af
ISO: 100-3200 (Expansion to 6400 & 12800)

But then again… these are just rumours and I want the pop-up flash that the Nikon D700 has…
