One stormy night..

It was so windy, I had my car windows down, I decided to stop nearby because I saw something I wanted to shoot. After shooting it, and walking back towards my car, the wind was really blowing strong and then as I was about to open the door, I saw this in front of me and I told myself I just have to shoot it because I felt something about it.

So I metered my camera and I had to shoot at ISO 6400 at a shutter speed of 1/3 of a second at wide open f2.8 because there wasn’t enough light!

As I was driving back it started to rain cats and dogs. So thankfully I got the shot before it rained.. I usually don’t shoot stuff like this, but this tree and the storm in the background caught my attention and my habit is if it catches my attention, I have to shoot it. I tried processing it in black and white but it didn’t do justice to the greens of the tree. So if anyone here appreciates this picture, I hope you can comment about it. :)

    Hi bro,

Thank you for giving that nice impression about your shot and the technical info is great too for me as it helps me a lot on approaching my shots. This picture on first glimpse do give that eeery feeling especially with the motion from the leaves. Great Shot bro!
