So everyone talks about the Kek Lok Si temple in Penang and I wanted to get something nice from this location but guess what.. they were doing some renovation.. and this is like the 4th place that I went to and there were renovations going on. So here I am standing in front of this huge Kuan Yin statue trying to imagine what it would look like without all that scaffolding.. plus the weather for the last few days has been dreadful with blank white overcast skies. Anyhow, I shot it and then put the camera on self timer to show that indeed I have been to the famous giant Kuan Yin statue! 

I’m almost done with my Penang shoot and will be back in KL tomorrow evening. My eyes are getting tired already and I need a few days break before I shoot out to Johor for the next part of my assignment. So here’s wishing all my Muslim friends “Selamat Hari Raya!!”
