Last night was insightful. The picture of litle Afghan girl in the hospital drew out my emotional side. Will watch this space for more. My deepest condolence in your father’s passing. Keep your spirits high. Good luck to you.

Hi Mr Lai, I consider myself a beginner in photography because I only started to get interested in it like early this year/late last year. Probably mainly because I don’t have my own camera. Anyway, I got to know you just now, when I was reading the latest issue of CLICK! mag at a bookstore and I have to say that I’m impressed at what they wrote about you (your achievements to date, to be exact). Reading about you being the chief photographer for AFP already made me wow, doesn’t matter if it’s current or former (chief) =)

Sorry to hear about what happened to your dad but anyway, life goes on and I wish you the best of luck. And hopefully I can extract even the tiniest bit of knowledge or experience through your blog and the photos you’ve taken. I’m lovin’ photography.
